In compiling my indication signals, I draw on logic, historical precedents, specific knowledge of the sector and its practices as to lessons learned.  It’s important for investors to identify and determine which indication is actual performance based.

I answer one question, in which company should investors put, keep and commit their money

U.S. stock index futures are rising

Dow futures are UP +0.50% (+109 points) and NASDAQ futures are UP +47% (+36 points)

U.S. stock index futures rose on Monday as the United States and Mexico drew closer to a deal on NAFTA. Investors also digested reassuring comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell on the central bank's policy-tightening path.

European markets traded higher as investors digested comments from the U.S. Fed's Powell;

Asian markets lifted as China's central bank reintroduced a policy adjustment aimed at keeping the yuan's daily midpoint fixed to a relatively stable value.

Today’s indications:

  • The iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology (IBB) is indicating a +0.2% UPSIDE in Monday’s pre-market;
  • The SPDR S&P Biotech ETF (XBI) is indicating a +0.4% UPSIDE in Monday’s pre-market;
  • The Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) is indicating a +0.5% UPSIDE in Monday’s pre-open;
  • The iShares Russell 2000 (IWM) is indicating a +0.2% UPSIDE in Monday’s pre-open

Henry’omics:

Who is one forst, what's on second and I am on vacation ... where the sand is vast, the drinks are deep (even in the morning, when needed (holy, bloodly mary pray for me) and we can take-off the muck boots - we where every day!

I always want to know what happened PRIOR to what might happen today – it sets a tone of consequence:

From Friday’s night’s newsletter: “volatility sketched a sometimes contradictory picture of the sector before the session closed positive. Every time, I hear about or see a new high – I say bye!”

I also stated, “Trepidation is in the room!”

The iShares NASDAQ Biotechnology (IBB):

  • Friday closed up +0.17%;
  • Thursday’s -0.58%
  • Wednesday’s +0.71%,
  • Tuesday’s +0.93%
  • And last Monday’s -0.17%

for a five session aggregate of +1,05% - looking at some upside response!

Of the 45 companies covered on Friday; 19 downside equities finished in a range of -0.05% (VTGR) to -5.56% (FIXX) while the 24 upside equities oscillated from +0.60% (NTLA) to +5.95% (MDXG) with 2 flat closes (BSTG and PSTI).

August’s measurement:

  • Of the past 5 sessions – 4 had closed positive with one negative close,
  • Of the past 10 sessions – 3 had closed negative
  • Of the 18 August sessions – 6 had negative and 12 positive closes

Companies in my headlights – It’s your decision; I provide the idea and context:

…. Everyone deserves a vacation!
